What should I wear?

  • Please wear comfortable clothes which can be machine washed. You will be provided with an apron, however, you may still get paint or other materials on you so it’s a good idea to wear something you are ok with getting a bit messy!

  • Please note, some of the acrylic paints do not wash as easily, please do not wear any nice clothing.

  • The studio floor can be cold, please bring indoor shoes with hard soles, for glass classes, closed-toed shoes must be worn for your safety.

  • For events taking place in the studio, please note the studio closes at 11:00 pm, exceptions may be made, contact us for more details.

What happens if I run out of time and don't finish my project?

  • Studio fees are included in the price so please schedule another time to come back and complete your project.  I’m happy to create with you!

  • Some projects require more than one visit to the studio, for example pottery wheel and hand-building classes require two separate visits. The first visit is when you create the piece from clay.  The piece will need time to air dry (1-2 weeks), then it will be bisque fired and the second visit is when the glazing (coloring) takes place.

  • You have up to 90 days after your class to come back to glaze your piece. Please call to schedule your glazing session.  Arrangements can be made to glaze your pottery, additional charges will apply. But to be clear, glazing is fun and you’ll miss out on the full experience!

Do I need previous experience?

  • Absolutely not! We will provide you with step by step instructions for all services and offer assistance when needed.
